Media Server Technician Wanted! ⌄
AV-Professional GmbH is one of Austria’s leading providers of professional video, conferencing, and film production technology. Two rental divisions support event organizers, agencies, and production companies in carrying out their short- or long-term projects. Two sales divisions support freelance creatives or TV broadcasters, universities, and cultural institutions in developing innovative concepts and realizing complex end-to-end solutions.
With our broadly skilled team of 40 employees and years of expertise, we’re able to accompany our clients from the first spark of an idea all the way to final implementation, drawing on 33 years of experience in the professional audio and video field. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a motivated person for our Event Solutions department (event technology).
Area of Responsibility
- Technical implementation of events in the fields of video technology and multimedia (with a focus on streaming and media server support)
- Serving as a competent communication interface between clients and technical staff
- Setup and teardown of event technology
- Creating digital scenes in media server software and providing on-site event support
Requirements
- Completed relevant vocational training as an event technician, video technician, or in multimedia
- Solid PC skills and an interest in new media, including streaming and live broadcasts
- Professional, customer-focused, and friendly manner
- Stress-resistant, self-reliant, and solution-oriented way of working
- Class B driver’s license (truck license/Class C an advantage)
Nice to Have
- Relevant professional experience and references are explicitly welcome
- Strong understanding of digital, virtual spaces/scenes/software setups
- Knowledge of media server software, e.g. Coolux, Pixera, Disguise…
