From 5 to 9 September, Copenhagen hosted the CIRSE Annual Congress, the yearly meeting of the Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiological Society of Europe and one of the world’s leading congresses for interventional radiology and minimally invasive image-guided therapy.
We were responsible for the video technology, from planning and set-up to support during live operation. The centrepiece was two large-format widescreens, built from a total of 10 Panasonic PT-RQ35 laser projectors. An Analog Way Aquilon C+ multiformat switcher handled signal management and the seamless blending of the projected images.
For media playback we used two disguise vx 4+ media servers. We programmed the shows in advance, so every item on the congress agenda ran at the push of a button. Three LED walls measuring 26 × 4 m, 10 × 3 m and 7 × 3 m completed the set-up.
Daniel Vojnich summed up the result on behalf of the client:
“These were the best widescreens we’ve ever had at any of our congresses.”
