Customised LED solution with dynamic curvature for the IMC FH Krems studio

An LED wall with special requirements was realised for our customer: 6 metres wide, 1.9 metres high, 1.5 mm pixel pitch and dynamic curvature. The installation was carried out on a customised substructure developed by our team.

The project planning was carried out precisely and the static and technical calculations were carefully prepared. Due to delays in transport from China, coordination proved difficult at times. Thanks to targeted coordination and close liaison between all parties involved, the schedule was nevertheless adhered to.

The realisation was carried out in close collaboration with the carpentry workshop to ensure that the technology fitted perfectly into the existing room concept. In addition to the LED wall, the lighting technology and a suitable truss system were also installed. The system was statically tested and certified.

It is controlled via a central tablet interface and enables flexible operation of the various components. The truss system is also designed for the use of PTZ cameras, thus creating extended utilisation options for future productions.

The result is a technically sophisticated and durable overall solution – customised to the customer’s specific requirements.
