PORR Congress 2017

Porr AG created a PORR experience world at the Austria Center Vienna to mark the start of the year.
The concept ranged from branding and a perfectly staged opening show to creative team-building activities
Team-building activities and inspired 1,800 employees.

The board members of PORR AG put on a brilliant performance when they abseiled from the ceiling from a height of 10 metres at the opening event in Hall A.
An oversized stage setting and a digital stage design, in which even the floor served as a projection surface, was impressive.

A total of 250 square metres of projection surface in the main hall A and the side halls B C could be projected razor-sharp and impressively.

For the projection on all stage structures alone, consisting of the stage backdrop, 2x side wings and the front edge of the stage in 3 parts, 11 Panasonic HD projectors with a total of 196,000 Ansi lumens were used. For animations, presentations and the LIVE camera images.

2 Spyder X-20 HD show controllers were connected together to enable all the necessary playout channels. Hundreds of GB of data had to be uploaded to the Pandorras Box media server to enable the backgrounds to be fully recorded. The HD network system with 3 cameras was always able to deliver a clear, sharp image depending on the situation. In use were: a Steady Cam system and 2 Sony HD system cameras equipped with 1x Canon 90x boxed broadcast studio lens and 1x Canon 40x telephoto lens with stabiliser.

In the “World of PORR” (exhibition hall X1), the participants experienced a PORR journey through time with construction machinery from the past to the professional drone for construction, insights into a tunnelling system and a presentation of the employees on Doka panels. In the PORR café, designed from pallet furniture, the participants were able to take in the world of PORR.
